We are very lucky to have such a large outdoor area. Outdoor learning is very important to us. We love getting out here daily to explore and learn in our surroundings.
Some of the outdoor learning we do is:
- Observing, learning and exploring the different seasons in our environment.
- Planting seeds for vegetables to grow.
- Looking after our nursery grounds watering plants etc.
- Exploring our forest and mud kitchen area in our wellies and suits.
- Actively participating in physical play to develop our gross motor skills.
- Exploring nature; bug hunts and bird watching.
