Throughout May, we have been learning about people who help us and their different roles.
Mrs Darragh the Dance Teacher taught us how to tap and ballet dance, we all listened very well and enjoyed following the moves.
Mrs Best the Home Economics teacher came to talk to us p about her role and how her classes are much different to ours with lots of appliances for cooking. We also enjoyed decorating some buns.
Bluewatch from Knock Fire Station paid us a visit in their fire engine. They talked to us about their jobs as firefighters and showed us what they have to wear going into fires. We really enjoyed getting to experience using the fire hose and sitting in the fire engine.
Our local neighbourhood policing team came in to see us. Constable Paul chatted with us about what he does and talked us through some parts of his uniform. We were very excited to get outside to look at and sit in the police car before we were shown how the sirens and lights worked 🚓 🚨
